Japan Semiconductor has been engaged in semiconductor manufacturing for more than 50 years, building reliable technologies and trust, in the fiercely competitive environment of this rapidly changing world. Guided by the Toshiba Group’s management philosophy of “For People, the Planet, and Tomorrow,” we strive to create sustainable growth and value for society together with all stakeholders, including our customers, business partners, and suppliers, along with educational institutions, municipalities, and local communities.

Semiconductors are becoming increasingly important as essential components in the enrichment of our lives. At Japan Semiconductor, our manufacturing processes accommodate a diverse range of products, including microcontrollers, analog ICs, mixed-signal ICs, linear image sensors, power semiconductors, and silicon photonics, which have applications across various fields such as automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics. Our company has extensive experience in manufacturing technologies and production management. Beyond the stringent quality control on our production lines, we pursue zero defects through our 24-hour analysis center that supports development, prototyping, and production. This allows us to continuously improve quality and meet customers’ expectations.

In terms of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), we place importance on contributing in all areas of our business activities, including environmental protection, occupational safety, community engagement, and education. In particular, collaboration with the local communities is fundamental to our company. We cherish our history so far in Iwate and Oita, and we aspire to remain a company that creates the future together with these regions.
