Japan Semiconductor Environmental Policy
Philosophy
Guided by the Toshiba Group's management philosophy, "Committed to People, Committed to the Future," we are contributing to the achievement of a sustainable society and a new future, through environmental management aimed at creating a circular economy in a decarbonized society in symbiosis with nature.
Policies
Our company operates two manufacturing facilities: Iwate Operations,
located in an area blessed with beautiful natural scenery,
including the Ou and Kitakami mountain ranges and the Kitakami
River, and Oita Operations, situated near Mount Takao and the Ono
River. We believe it is our mission to respect these abundant
natural environments.
Both operations facilities are deeply
rooted in their local communities and strive to foster cooperation
and solidarity with local residents. With the SDGs* in mind, we aim
to contribute to society by providing semiconductor products, while
practicing environmentally conscious corporate management from a
lifecycle perspective across all business processes, from
procurement through manufacturing to disposal.
